Iced Earth (+neuer Sänger)

Hey,
wie die das Thema schon sagt, geht es hier um Iced Earth. Gestern ist die neue Single "The Reckoning" mit dem neuen Sänger (Tim "Ripper" Owens) von Iced Earth rausgekommen.

Also ich die EP gehört habe, war ich weg. Es ist typisch Iced Earth. Und wenn ich es vorher nicht gewusst hätte, würde es nicht unbedingt glecih auffallen, das der Sänger neu ist.

Es gibt schon Unterschiede, gerade beim Track "The Reckoning" hört man das gut heraus, aber trotzdem.
Ich finde es ziemlich genial.

Was meint ihr dazu?

Äh, das kann doch nicht sein, das keiner die EP kennt?

also ich hab noch nix vom neuen Album gehört, aber ich denk mir es kann nicht schlecht sein!

Denn Iced Earth machen einfach geile Musik und Tim Owens ist einer der besten Metalsänger die es im Mom gibt...der gefällt sogar mir als Hasser der hohen Töne im Metal *g*

Ich finds allerdings sehr schade, dass er nimmer bei Priest is...ich hab die mit ihm mal live gesehn und das war sooooo geil!

Naja, aber bei Iced is er auch gut aufgehoben!

hmm......Ripper Owns singt nu bei Iced Earth? DAS is ja was feines, also gehört hab ich noch nichts, aber der singt/sang ja auch bei Judas Priest und DA war er saufein, muss man sich wol echt mal anhören.....

Also ich kann das wirklich nur empfehlen. Und ich bin echt total gespannt auf das ALbum was im Januar rauskommt und natürlcih auf die Tour.
Einige klassiker müssen sie einfach spielen und da freu ich mich schon wahnsinnig drauf.

Hab gerade über Internetradio "Gettysburg (1863): The Devil To Pay" gehört. Leider hab ich etwas zu spät reingeschaltet. Mein erster Gedanke war "Hey, das hört sich ja an wie aus den 80er" *g* Lag wohl daran das ziemlich oft hoch und lang geschrien wurde. Bin mal gespannt wie der Rest der CD ist.

Also, das neue Album ist ja nun über 1. Woche raus. Und es ist einfach SUPER geil.

Der Sound ist 100%ig Iced Earth und Owens ist echt gut dort aufgehoben. Am besten gefällt mir "High water Mark", das Ende davon ist so Gefühlvoll, einfach der helle Wahnsinn.

Oh wie freue ich mich nun auf der Iced Earth Konzert im April mit Primal Fear zusammen :-)
